Born in 1962, Edison Cummings studied jewelry making at the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, NM, as well as at ASU in Tempe, AZ. Edison Cummings initially studied painting, but soon began to shift toward sculpture and jewelry-making. We are glad he did!
For many years now, Edison Cummings’ jewelry has consistently been recognized with awards at SWAIA Indian Market in Santa Fe and at the Heard Guild Show in Phoenix. He is most widely known for his creatively designed inlaid sand and tufa cast jewelry, and using only the finest gemstones. Most importantly, Edison Cummings is known for his craftsmanship, attention to detail, and taking the time to create perfection in his jewelry.
