Wedding Vase with impressed bear paws by James Ebelacker.  James Ebelacker is a very highly respected Santa Clara Pueblo pottery artist who has been recognized with numerous award for his work.  James is the son of award-winning potter Virginia Ebelacker, and grandson of famed potter Margaret Tafoya, both also of Santa Clara Pueblo.  James learned his pottery-making skills and craft primarily from his mother, and is now known for his excellence in making particularly large vessels.  Even though James Ebelacker served our country in the Air Force for 20 years, he has been a very successful pottery artist.  This lovely Wedding Vase is approximately 13″ tall and 10 1/4″ wide from the edges of the spouts (7 3/4″ diameter of the container).
