Jordan Roller Brown-Fired Carved Bowl – Santa Clara Pottery

$1,875

Jordan Roller Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery.  Very attractive and well-made pottery bowl with simple precise carvings, and a lovely deep & even shine.  A unique ‘brown-fired’ piece!  Brown-firing Santa Clara pottery is fairly rare, primarily because it’s difficult to execute properly.  Jordan Roller (b.1987) has learned the art of pottery making from his award-winning potter / father Jeff Roller, and his award-winning potter / grandmother Toni Roller, both also of Santa Clara Pueblo.  Jordan is a great-grandson of the famed Santa Clara Pueblo pottery artist, Margaret Tafoya.  Please watch the quick video!
