Ryan Roller Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery – Tall Carved Vase

$2,400

Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery made by Ryan Roller.  This is a highly attractive deeply carved tall vase with a nice shine, slightly turned out rim, and the unusual color of a milk chocolate brown.  Firing a piece of pottery brown is very difficult, and Ryan has already mastered the process!

Ryan Roller (b.1982) has been learning the art of pottery making from his award-winning potter / father Jeff Roller, and his award-winning potter / grandmother Toni Roller, both also of Santa Clara Pueblo.  Ryan is also a great-grandson of the famed Santa Clara Pueblo potter Margaret Tafoya.  Ryan is a very talented artist in many mediums, and potentially a rising star in Southwest pottery. He has a very bright future!    Please watch the quick video.
