Prize-Winning Santa Clara Pueblo pottery by Lois Gutierrez de la Cruz.  This polychrome jar, with painted Pueblo Dancers and a Ram, won 2nd Place at the 2002 New Mexico State Fair.  Lois is known for making beautiful polychrome Santa Clara pottery with painted scenes including Pueblo dancers, hunters, animals, clowns, or butterflies.  She comes from a family of talented potters, as her mother, Petra, as well as her sisters, Goldenrod (Gloria Garcia) , Thelma Talachy, Lupita Gutierrez and Minnie Vigil all are respected pottery artists. Lois and her husband, Derek De La Cruz, usually each make their own pottery and fire jointly.  —  Please watch the quick video!
