Hopi Pot by Iris Nampeyo


Hopi Pottery by award-winning pottery artist, Iris Nampeyo.  Approximately 4 3/4″ tall, and 8″ in diameter.  The featured carved corn design is known to be a sort of ‘trademark’ of Iris Nampeyo pottery, along with an asymmetrical mouth.  This is a beautifully made piece of artwork, done in her signature style and traditional methods.  Iris is the daughter of very highly regarded Hopi potter, Fannie Nampeyo; and granddaughter of legendary potter, Nampeyo.  Please watch the quick video!
