Effie Garcia and her husband, Orville Garcia, work together in the production of their fine pottery. Their works are known for their deep precise carvings and fine slip-painted outlines around the carved edges. Their pottery has a recognizable shape with a very narrow base and wide shoulder. Effie and Orville Garcia have received high praise, and won numerous awards for their Santa Clara Pueblo Pottery for over 25 years.
